Candy Kingdom Defense Evolution Materials and Where to Get Them
Find seven heroes’ evolution materials in Act 5 replay rewards, plus the documented routes for Enchiridion Pages, Lich Ooze, and the Mars Seal.
Find personal evolution materials in Act 5
Each listed Act 5 replay reward contains 50 Gems and one personal evolution item. FIRST CLEAR is a separate reward.
- Open PLAY and choose the world for the material you need.
- Select its Act 5 card and check the REPLAY row before starting.

Get Enchiridion Pages and check Shrine costs
Enchiridion Pages are required by every evolution. Their item description lists one Page per Challenge win. Dungeon Train houses Challenges that reward evolution materials and upgrade resources.
Five shown Shrine recipe previews each require 10 of the hero’s personal evolution item, 5 Enchiridion Pages, and 1,000 Gems. These costs are documented for those five previews only. The Marceline Beast recipe specifically requires 10 Hunson’s Amulets, 5 Enchiridion Pages, and 1,000 Gems.
Find Lich Ooze and craft the Mars Seal
Lich Ooze evolves The Lich into Jake the Lich. Its item description lists one Ooze per win in Lich’s Lair, entered through a Lich Portal.
The Mars Seal is a secret evolution item with no named hero in its description. Its listed Crafting Table recipe requires three of every evolution item and ten Enchiridion Pages.
